Third Annual BioE2E Alternative
Funding Fair
SRI International,
333 Ravenswood Ave, Menlo Park, CA
Friday, February 27, 2004
Registration begins at 8:30AM, program 9:00 - 5:00
Join fellow entrepreneurs for a
full day of valuable information and insights directly from
government agencies. Get the inside story on what it really takes
to get government funding and find out about free resources that
can help drug discovery and development.
US and state government agencies
including the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer
Institute, National Institute for Standards and Technology, and
the Department of Defense all provide funds and non-cash resources
to small biotechnology companies with innovative technologies in
the form of grants, contracts, screening services and other
development assistance. Government grants can provide non-dilutive
funding, validation from peers, feedback from experts and
prestige.
At BioE2E’s third annual
Alternative Funding Fair event, you will learn about the various
programs available, grant writing strategies and tactics,
determine if a grant is right for your project, and meet
government agency representatives. Additionally, this year we have
speakers addressing valuable non-cash resources and expertise
available from the National Cancer Institute.
Besides presentations by grant
awarding organizations, attendees will have the opportunity to
meet with law firms and other service providers that provide
assistance in grant management and writing grant applications.
Previous year’s highly successful events were each attended by
over 110 entrepreneurs. Registration is limited to 180 attendees.
