The DNA Bridges Inc. and the WTC is hosting a GenenEx Reunion on Jan. 9, 2003. This informal group of Genentech alumni meets periodically to catch up with friends and discuss their experiences as entrepreneurs and VC’s. More biotech CEOs have emerged from Genentech over the years than from any other biotech company of record (www.signalsmag.com 3/22/2000). The experiences of some of the individuals (GenenExers) who took this first leap of faith provide some real insights into the factors that motivated them …. they speak to the qualities of entrepreneurship (Jennifer Van Brunt, Signals Magazine).
