For the last four plus years, Deborah has been the Strategy and
Business Advisor to the CEO of the Italian Molteni
Pharmaceutical Holding. She has recently spun-off part of
that business into a biotech, Molteni Therapeutics. She is
in charge of all of its Business Development and Strategy.
Before moving into Biotech, Dr. Aghib was an Assistant Professor
at UCSF. She was awarded the National Development Award from
the American Heart Association, the Award for Oncogene
Research from the American-Italian Cancer Research
Association, and the National Award from the Italian Cancer
Research Association. She holds a PhD in Human Genetics
from the Pavia University (Italy) and a PhD from the Milan
University (Italy) in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
